Project Management
While a hotel can have a manager or administrative assistant to support in the planning and executing of a new hotel project, the owner may need to specifically hire an experienced hotel project manager.
This, not only for keeping the manager’s attention focused on the guest and the administrative assistant’s attention focused on the day-to-day administrative tasks; but also because the job of a hotel project manager may require to work independently with the owner to perform individual tasks related to an issue with engineering, design, marketing, distribution, reservation management, or IT development.
How I do it:
I am the facilitator between the owner and investors with contractors and laborers, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration
Developing budgets and proposals for owner’s approval followed by tracking and executing
Defining everyone's roles in the projects to be executed
Delegate projects and oversee the quality and time execution
Organize and readjust projects plans and timelines
Create a communication plan to keep the team aligned and focused
Using top PM tools for tracking and organizing
Benefits that you will see are:
Effective planning, scheduling, and executing
Defined objectives
Effective authority delegation
Improved morale and productivity, leading to profitability
Better chances of assertiveness
Opportunity to better stay on budget and scope
