Why do procedures matter? Think about HOW it is currently done and HOW can it be best done. Right processes provide the focus for making operations better and more successful.
Processes are necessary when certain duties or responsibilities are executed often. When a duty or responsibility directly determines the costs, the customer satisfaction, or underlie the business growth processes must be established.
This is how I do it:
Audit the current procedures in each hotel department
Determine which departments need procedures and which ones need to be updated
Work with department heads and those who have been doing the tasks daily for best results
Document and test the new procedures
Inform and train department heads and employees
